Empowered Women Empower Women
For International Women’s Day, I wanted to share a bit about how crucial it is for us divine creatures to honour and support one another. In our patriarchal society, we’ve been pitted against each other for far too long, made to feel lesser and even programmed to direct our emotions inward rather than at the true oppressor. Now, this isn’t about bashing men—I’m a proud mother to a beautiful boy, and I adore his male makeup. It’s simply the way societal norms have played out that leaves many of us women feeling hard done by.
I find it absolutely baffling that when a man cheats, so often the focus turns to fury and nastiness directed at the other woman. I’m not saying that every situation is black and white—if someone knowingly steps into that role, accountability is certainly due. But the prevalent mindset of “boys will be boys” whilst labelling women with hurtful names truly blows my mind. It’s not just infidelity either; when a man’s sexual energy is celebrated as natural, a sexually awakened woman is met with unease and judgement.
Reflecting on my teenage years, I remember how a healthy sexual appetite in women was met with ostracism and cruel labels, while boys boasted about their exploits. And if a pregnancy occurred, it was always our fault, with the boy given a free pass for “ruining his life.” It all seems a bit mad now, and just talking about it gets me fired up!
Shifting to a more positive outlook, I truly believe that learning to love our sisters is essential. We need to lift one another up, accepting even jealous emotions as a natural part of the human experience. Rather than letting these feelings turn into hate, why not see them as admiration—recognising the spark in another woman’s life? When we make this shift, we feel lighter, brighter, and we shine more brilliantly.
Take Britney Spears, for instance. When she posts her dance videos, rather than gossiping or cringing, can we pause to consider the sadness and hardships she’s endured? So many women have been used, abused, and left to struggle with mental health, only to be mocked later. In my eyes, she remains a true legend and queen, and so does every woman out there.
We hold power in the cosmos, in the astral realms—our strength is immeasurable. We may not feel that power at the moment because we were once so united that it threatened unhealed men, who then decided we needed to be knocked down a peg or two. But now, we are awakening to our true essence and power once again.
Let’s reclaim our gifts. We are not just mothers or life-givers; we are healers, teachers, and medicine women, destined to thrive. It’s time to unite as the divine forces we are, building a collective consciousness of intuition and understanding that rises above the confines of mind and ego.
So, let’s choose today to lift our sisters up with genuine love and support. When empowered women empower women, we create a ripple effect of healing and transformation that touches every corner of our lives.
Happy International Women’s Day!!
